Pre-Season Player of the Year Voting Starts Wednesday

Double check your registration card. Voting for the Farsmtros Pre-Season Player of the Year commences Wednesday morning. Voting runs through Monday, February 6. Last season's Pre-Season Player of the Year was J.D. Martinez who ended the season as the Astros' starting left-fielder. Pre-Season Pitcher of the Year voting will begin Wednesday, February 8.

Astros Sign Brown, Release Six

According to the latest transaction update from Baseball America, the Astros signed another outfielder with big league experience. Jordan Brown has been in the major leagues with Cleveland. He spent 2011 with Nashville and Columbus.

The Astros have also released six players:
