Big Buse,

I just listened to the interview. He does paint a bleak picture of the Astros system. Based especially on last year's draft that is not surprising. I agree that they may have been too hasty in trading Lidge. At the same time, I can understand why they were in a hurry to get rid of him. Minute Maid might have gotten torn down if Lidge came out and gave up a game losing homerun to blow a save in the home opener. He needs a new scene. I also agree that McClane has to invest some more in young talent. Especially since it seems he is cutting back on his major league payroll.
