Locke done for the Season

Corpus Christi outfielder Drew Locke's season came to an end a week early last night at San Antonio. Locke was hit by a pitch which broke his left hand. Locke, picked up by the Astros in last year's rule 5 draft was the offensive leader of the Hooks this season. He ends the season leading the Texas League with a .338 batting average and 109 RBI. He also has 20 home runs and 31 doubles. The Hooks roster will be even more depleted after tonight's game when Jason Castro and Jimmy Van Ostrand leave for the World Cup.
