Van Ostrand gets a Bronze Medal

First Baseman Jimmy Van Ostrand and Team Canada knocked off Puerto Rico 6-2 Saturday in Italy to claim the Bronze Meal in the Baseball World Cup. Van Ostrand had a two-run home run and three RBI total in the 3rd Place Game. For the entire tournament, he batted .319 (15 for 47) in 13 games. He ended up with three doubles, three home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored.
