The DSL Astros started their season this week going 1 and 3 to get things started. Corpus Christi was 4-2 (26-25, over-all); Lexington, 3-4 (26-28);
Round Rock, 2-4 (23-29); Lancaster, 1-6 (16-36)
The Farmstros Five for the Week of May 27- June 2, 2010:
The Top Performer:
Enderson Franco, 17, RHP, DSL Astros. Franco pitched five scoreless innings in his first game of the season in the Dominican He allowed only one hit and struck out six.
The other four:
Koby Clemens, 23, 1B, Corpus Christi. Clemens went 8 for 24 on the week. He had three home runs, including a grand slam and eight RBI.
Jhon Florentino, 26, 3B, Corpus Christi. Florentino was 8 for 16 with two triples and seven RBI.
Drew Locke, 27, OF, Round Rock. Locke went 9 for 26 with three home runs and six RBI.
Mark Ori, 26, 1B, Lancaster. Ori was 12 for 26 with four doubles and six RBI.
