Donovan was not on the allstar roster...
near capacity crowd with Kody Hinze blasting 5 HR in the first round and losing 2-1 in a 5 out showdown to crown the Southern HR champ to eventual overall winner Chris Dominguez (5-4 over Miguel Velasquez in the finals).
Altuve nearly had a double down the left field line which Stephen Souza made a diving stab catch for a fantastic out. His RBI came on a fielder's choice out on another well-hit ball.
Clark was dominant and kept batters fooled between mid-90's heat and well placed off-speed pitches.
J.D. was also hit by a pitch, lucikly with no damage. Both J.D. and Kody played the entire game.
I'm not sure what I was thinking about Donovan, but looking back there WERE just four. Maybe, I was thinking Donovan deserves to be there after his first half. thanks for the report, Larry.
