Aluminum Can Music Man to Host a Can Drive, October 29

For those of you who read this blog in the Houston area, here's some information about an event that I am producing in the Heights area Friday, October 29.

In addition to Farmstros, I am the creator of a recycling superhero named ALUMINUM CAN MUSIC MAN. ACMM is a song-singing cartoon character who promotes recycling and at the same time helps raise money for schools and charitable organizations in the Houston area. You can read more about his 'toons and his tunes by visiting THE SECRET LAIR.

This project is still in its infancy. However, it has already received some financial backing from C&D Scrap Metal. (We pay you in $2 bills)

ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29, Aluminum Can Music Man will be hosting a can drive at the Sterling Bank 414 W. 19th Street, Houston, Texas. Aluminum Can Music Man will be in the parking lot of Sterling Bank from 7:20- 8:30 a.m. and 2:30- 4:00 p.m. on that day. Aluminum Can Music Man will be collecting cans and singing during the event. He will be joined by his fellow recyclers from C&D Scrap Metal. C&D will be bringing their monster truck and handing out t-shirts. If you are in the Heights area on October 29, please stop by.

All proceeds from cans donated at this event will support the Helms PTA.
