Astros Open Up Space for ???

Yesterday the Astros took three players off of their 40-man roster (Esposito, Hernandez, and Sutil). This reduced the number on that roster to 37. Thanks to Zach Levine for pointing out that one of those spots could be for Alberto Arias, who is currently on the 60 day disabled list and exempt from the 40-man roster. Who else is going on? My guess: Doug Arguello and Koby Clemens. (with Drew Locke an outside shot)

Drew Locke has been one of the best players in the entire league at the AA and AAA level. He hits for power, average, and produces runs. Locke will hit the bases loaded double more often than anyone - time to call him up.
