I Guess it's time to Pull Out the Don Quixote/Quantum Leap Card
As I tilt at the windmills surrounding Minute Maid Park, (Will this Swing Make it to Minute Maid Park), I remember the QUANTUM LEAP episode embedded above, in which Dr. Sam Beckett lands in the body of an actor playing Don Quixote in THE MAN OF LA MANCHA.
As the Astros Media Softball game draws nearer (I don't know the exact date, but last year's game took place in the first week of November), I call on Farmstros readers for help again. If Farmstros helps you follow the Astros and increases your interest in/loyalty to the Houston organization, please take a few moments to let the club, specifically the Media Relations department, know on my behalf.
You can contact the club at 713-259-8000 (main number)

For your convenience, here is a sample script for your phone call:
"This is ====== from Senegal in Africa. I have been a fan of the Astros for ---- years. It has been exciting to follow the transition of the organization, especially during the 2010 season. One great source of hope for me as an Astros fan is the steady growth of the farm system overseen by Mr. Wade, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Nelson and of course, Mr. Heck. I especially appreciate the blog Farmstros, which is an excellent source of information about the Astros of the Future created by Mike Tauser. Farmstros provides me, as an Astros' fan, with helpful information throughout the season and in the off-season. While Tauser is not a credentialed media member, for the service he provides to Astros fans everywhere, he merits consideration for inclusion in the Astros media softball game."
Once again, I appreciate your readership and your assistance on this matter.
Thanks for following the Astros of the Future with us
