Readers of Farmstros have spoken, and J.D. Martinez is the pre-season Player of the Year. The Outfielder collected 18 out of 72 votes. Drew Locke was the runner-up with 11. Austin Wates with eight votes and Chris Wallace with seven were third and fourth. Jose Altuve, J.B. Shuck and Delino DeShields picked up six votes each.
