Andy Van Hekken had another quality start for Oklahoma City tonight in their first game back from the All-Star break. The left-hander pitched seven innings in Iowa, allowing seven hits and one earned run while striking out seven batters. In his last six starts, Van Hekken, who last appeared in the big leagues almost nine years ago, has a 2.02 with 37 strikeouts and 35 hits allowed in 39 2/3 IP. His outing tonight lowered his over-all ERA for the season to 2.97.
