Day Games in Kissimmee, Florida and Staten Island, New York gave three Astros' pitching prospects a chance to get their work in early, and they made effective use of the opportunity.
In Kissimmee,
Tanner Bushue, 20, GCL Astros. Bushue continued his rehab efforts, pitching four innings against the GCL Marlins. He allowed only one run while striking out two and allowing six hits.
Adrian Houser, 18, GCL Astros. Houser made his sixth professional appearance, relieving Bushue. He allowed only two hits and one run in 4 1/3 innings. He lowered his ERA for the season to 4.03 in 22 1/3 innings pitched.
In Staten Island,
Juri Perez, 20, Tri-City. Perez gave up only four hits and one run, striking out eight in six innings for the Valley Cats.
