Yordany Ramirez- Two Great Catches for the Road

Yordany Ramirez's attempt to become a pitcher in the Astros' organization came to a close yesterday when he was released from the Lancaster roster. Ramirez, who spent three seasons in AAA Round Rock as an outfielder, made amazing catches commonplace. A lack of hitting to complement his glove work led to Yordany taking the mound and trying his hand as a pitcher late in 2010. He split the 2011 season between Lexington and Lancaster. As a Legend and JetHawk, he made 23 appearances, posting a 10.41 ERA with 20 strikeouts and 28 walks in 32 innings.
