I just returned from a family vacation. While checking box scores, I found noticed that while I was visiting his hometown of Boston, Oklahoma City outfielder Drew Locke put up four straight multiple-hit games. In addition, he had back to back six-RBI games on Monday and Tuesday. I was in Boston from Saturday through Tuesday. During that span, Locke was 10 for 19 with three doubles, three home runs (one grand slam) and 14 RBI.
So far in tonight's game, which started after I was back in Houston, Locke is 0 for 2 for the RedHawks. If Drew happens to ask, let's tell him that I've decided to take up residence in Paul Revere's House until the end of baseball season.
