When Greeneville's Josh Magee stepped into the batter's box to lead off Saturday's game at Bristol, his batting average was exactly .200. By the time, Magee reached first base on a single in the top of the fourth inning Wendesday night in Pulaski, the Mendoza Line was a distant memory.
Over 13 plate appearances, Magee,the Astros' 18th round selection in the 2010 draft, reached base 13 times with 12 hits and one walk. During the streak, which ended when he was called out on strikes in the top of the seventh inning Wednesday, Magee raised his batting average seventy points to .270.
