Shuck's on His Way to Minute Maid at the Highest Speed

Oklahoma City outfielder J.B. Shuck is now Houston Astro outfielder J.B. Shuck. Shuck will be called up to replace Luis Durango. Since participating in the AAA All-Star Game in July, Shuck has batted .437 (31 for 71) with four doubles, three triples and 17 runs scored. His performance has him in the lead in the current voting for the Farmstros July Player of the Month.

Shuck follows Jason Castro and Jordan Lyles, in becoming the third member of the Astros' 2008 draft class to reach the big leagues. Shuck introduced himself to the Farmstros Village near the end of this year's spring training. Also, Lee Street interviewed J.B. for Farmstros in August 2010.
