Goebbert Drives in First Run of Game as Rafters Win AFL Title

Jacob Goebbert hit a sacrifice fly to drive in the second inning to drive in the first run of the Arizona Fall League Championship. Goebbert's RBI gave the Salt River Rafters a lead they never relinquished as they went on to knock off Surprise in Saturday's contest. Goebbert also singled and scored in a 5-run seventh inning as the Rafters finished the game with a 9-3 victory. Jason Castro had a double in the game, and Josh Zeid pitched 1/3 of an inning without allowing a run.
