This list of the 25 top-ranked high school seniors in the Houston area contains at least one name which should be familiar to fans of the Astros of the future. Jake COSART a senior RHP/OF from Clear Creek High School is the younger brother of Jarred Cosart. The Astros acquired the older Cosart in last summer's Hunter Pence trade. Here's a link to some scouting video of Jake, who has committed to Duke University.
The Clear Creek roster also includes Jansen Cosart, a junior IF/OF.
Also in the Farmstros Family News section, Chris Wallace's cousin is Pasadena Memorial infielder Kody Eaves.
