The Astros have reportedly claimed outfielder Fernando Martinez from the Mets after he was placed on waivers. Martinez, 23, has spent parts of the past three seasons with Mets playing 47 games and batting .183. Room will need to be made on the 40-man roster for Martinez.
Not to say anyone should be feeling sleepy about the 2012 Astros, but the 40-man roster certainly has a ZZZZZZZZ feel to it:
