The Farmstros Village has voted outfielder Austin Wates its Pre-Season Player of the Year. Wates, a 2010 draft pick received 146 out of a total of 279 votes. Jonathan Singleton, who was acquired in the Hunter Pence trade garnered 47 votes. George Springer had 22 votes, and Chris Wallace had 20.
Voting for the Farmstros Pitcher of the Year begins Wednesday.
