Round Rock Express fans who miss following the ASTROS of the future at Dell Diamond can take a nostalgia trip Friday evening. Baseball fans in the Austin area can listen to a possible Astro of the Future on KVET in Austin. The station will carry University of Texas' Friday night game at Stanford, when the Longhorns take on Mark Appel and the Stanford Cardinal. Appel is one candidate to be the Astros first selection in the 2012 draft. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.(Minute Maid Park Time)
