Many thanks to a golfer at the Literacy Advance Houston golf tournament who introduced me to a team that I would have been following if I had created Farmstros 50 years ago.
One participant at the charity event(I believe his name was Scott Moore) was wearing a hat similar to the one pictured above. Further inquiry revealed the fact that the Moultrie(Georgia) Colt 22s were an affiliate of the Houston Colt 45s in 1962 and 1963. The Colt 22s competed in the Georgia/Florida League during that time.
