The Farmstros Five #5:
Once again this week, the surplus of good performances compel me to put the selection of the fifth spot in the hands of the Farmstros Village. Please vote below.
Mike Foltynewicz, 20, RHP, Lexington. Foltynewicz gave up one run and four hits in his six inning start. He struck out five.
Wes Musick, 25, LHP, Lancaster. Musick made two solid starts in the California League. He pitched 14 1/3 innings and allowed four runs. He had one complete game and allowed 13 hits over the week.
Andrew Simunic, 26, IF, Corpus Christi. Simunic didn't get a lot of at bats in the Hooks' seven games this week. However, when he did get to the plate, he hit the ball. He finished 10 for 17 with two doubles, one home run and seven RBI.
Alex Todd, 22, SS, Lexington. Todd went 12 for 25 on the week. He only had one extra-base hit, a double, but he drove in seven.
