Musick's Corpus Christi Debut Impressive

Despite leaving the game with his team trailing, Wes Musick was solid in his first appearance as a Hook.  Musick allowed just one run over seven innings Monday night, allowing six hits and two walks while striking out seven on 89 pitches.  The Missions were leading the game 1-0 when Musick was replaced.
The start was Musick's first for the Hooks since being called up from Lancaster. Musick, who was acquired before the 2011 season from Colorado as part of the Matt Lindstrom trade, had a 2.51 ERA in five starts for Lancaster this season before he was promoted.
