The Top Performer:
Drew Locke, 29, OF, Corpus Christi. Locke only played in five games after returning to the organization from the Sugar Land Skeeters. He finished his week with grand slams in back to back games for the Hooks. Over-all, he was 8 for 21 with three home runs and 12 RBI. Corpus won all five games in which Locke played.
The Next Three:
R.J. Alaniz, 21, RHP, Lancaster. In his one start this week for the JetHawks, Alaniz pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing four hits and striking out four.
Matt Duffy, 23, IF, Lexington. Duffy was 13 for 26 with one double, one home run, four RBI and five runs scored.
Evan Grills, 20, LHP, Lexington. Grills pitched 7 2/3 scoreless innings over three relief appearances. He allowed five hits and struck out three.
Who is the Farmstros Five #5 for Week 10?
Candidates for the Farmstros Five #5:
Jose Cisnero, 23, RHP, Corpus Christi. Cisnero allowed just one run in a seven-inning start. He gave up six hits and struck out six.
Mike Foltynewicz, 20, RHP, Lexington. In two starts, Foltynewicz allowed three runs in 13 1/3 IP for the Legends. He gave up 12 hits and struck out seven.
Brett Oberholtzer, 22, LHP, Corpus Christi. Oberholtzer made two starts and allowed 3 runs and eight hits in 13 2/3 IP. He struck out 16.
Jimmy Paredes, 23, 2B, Oklahoma City. Paredes was 15 for 32 for the RedHawks. He had one double, one triple, five RBI, eight runs scored and three stolen bases.
Drew Robinson, 24, RHP, Lancaster. Robinson struck out 11 over three scoreless relief appearances. In 5 2/3 IP, he gave up on only two hits.
Edwin Villarroel, 17, LHP, DSL Astros. In his start, Villarroel pitched seven innings and gave up six hits and no earned runs.
