Farmstros May Player of the Month

Who is the Farmstros May Player of the Month?

Here are the candidates for the Farmstros May Player of the Month:

Matt Duffy, 23, IF, Lexington. Duffy was 37 for 108 in May.  He had 11 doubles, four home runs, 14 RBI, a .343 batting average and a .556 slugging percentage.

Fernando Martinez, 23, OF, Oklahoma City. Fernando batted .337 for the month.  He had eight doubles, one triple, four home runs and 17 RBI in 95 at bats.

Jose Martinez, 26, IF, Corpus Christi. Jose was 38 for 111(.342).  He had eight doubles, two triples, three home runs and 17 RBI for the Hooks.

Jimmy Paredes, 23, 2B, Oklahoma City.  Paredes stole 11 bases for the RedHawks.  He also batted .321(34 for 106) with five doubles, two triples, two home runs and 12 RBI.

Jon Singleton, 20, 1B/OF, Corpus Christi.  Singleton had seven home runs for the Hooks on the month.  He also had a .531 slugging percentage with 24 RBI in 96 at bats.

George Springer, 22, OF, Lancaster. Springer went 36 for 111 in May.  He had three doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 21 RBI, seven stolen bases and 26 runs scored.

Jonathan Villar, 21, SS, Corpus Christi. The Hooks' shortstop had 11 stolen bases and 17 runs scored for the month.  He was 30 for 104 with four extra-base hits and 13 RBI.

Brett Wallace, 25, IF, Oklahoma City. Wallace showed some power in May with seven AAA home runs.  He also had six doubles, 21 RBI and a .538 slugging percentage in 104 at bats.
