In case you have been wondering what is going on with Chia-jen Lo, he made an appearance for the GCL Astros Wednesday afternoon in Kissimmee. Lo started the game and threw one perfect inning against the GCL Marlins. He induced two ground outs and one infield pop out.
Lo, 26, joined the Astros' organization with a bang in 2009. The native of Taiwan split that season between Lancaster and Corpus Christi posting a 2.10 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 64 1/3 IP. However, he injured his arm early in 2010 and has not made a long-term return yet. He pitched two innings for Lexington in 2011.
