Velasquez, Valley Cats Win Vermont Primary

Vincent Velasquez picked up a win in his first game since returning from Tommy John surgery, and Tri-City knocked of the Vermont Lake Monsters 10-2 in their 2012 season opener.  Velasquez, who missed the entire 2011 season, faced two batters over the minimum in a five inning stint.  The 2010 2nd Round Draft Pick allowed two hits and struck out six Lake Monsters.
