Player Development Agreement Update- Short Season A

The Astros' Player Development Agreement with Short Season A Tri-City expires at the end of the 2012 season.  Here is a look at the Short Season A affiliates who at this time are scheduled to become available this off-season.

Houston has been affiliated with Tri-City of the NYPL since 2001.

Aberdeen Iron Birds- affiliated with Baltimore since 2002.  Operated by Ripken Baseball, LLC.

Batavia Muckdogs- affiliated with St. Louis since 2007.  Operated by Red Wings Management, LLC.

Hudson Valley Renegades- affiliated with Tampa Bay since 1996.  Operated by Keystone Baseball Club, Inc.

Jamestown Jammers- affiliated with Miami since 2002.  Operated by Rich Baseball Operations.

State College Spikes- affiliated with Pittsburgh since 2007.  Operated by Spikes Baseball, LLP.

Tri-City Valley Cats- affiliated with Houston since 2001.  Operated by Tri-City ValleyCats, Inc.


Northwest League

As far as I can tell, the Astros have never had an affiliate in the Northwest League.

Boise Hawks- affiliated with Chicago Cubs since 2001.  Operated by Boise Baseball, LLC.
