Now, that Looks Like a #1 Draft Pick!
Heading into his game with the GCL Astros on August 8, Astros' #1 Draft pick Carlos Correa owned a paltry .217 batting average in Florida. Things sure can change in 10 days! Since August 8, Correa has played 11 games, including seven for Greeneville, after a promotion last week. Correa has hit safely in 10 of the 11 contests and posted a .415 batting average(17 for 41). He has two doubles, two triples, one home run, five runs scored, five RBI and four walks. In one week at Greeneville, Correa is batting .458.
